Apple’s quest to destroy Google, Android, Samsung, Microsoft and so on has provided much news and entertainment for not just the tech, legal and social community but it’s also been a boon to legal teams since the 1980’s. The big problem with designing your products to suit your ego is this: “Who is looking after your users?”
Deciding to drop Google Maps is one thing; destroying the experience for users who are getting lost is another.
Never mind though – you can now download a much better YouTube app from the App store but you can also download Google Maps straight back to your iPhone iOS6 in a simple step:
1. Open Safari (or Chrome Browser if you have it) and visit maps.google.com
2. Tap on the “Install to Desktop”
Now you can move it back to the home screen and dump Apple’s iLost to the back pages!
