ToggleGoogle Search Console tells you how Google sees your site. Nothing does the same job for AI search, so we built GEO Search Console: five free tools that show how AI search and the crawlers behind it see your pages.
You can check whether your page is in the data AI models train on, whether Claude and ChatGPT can reach it, and what AI engines actually search for when someone asks a question in your niche. There is nothing to sign up for.
What GEO is, and why it needs its own tools
GEO stands for generative engine optimization: getting your pages found, read and cited by AI. It overlaps with SEO, but the questions are

different.
Ranking on Google doesn’t tell you whether an AI crawler was turned away by your firewall. It doesn’t tell you what searches ChatGPT ran before it wrote its answer, or whether your page was in the crawl a model learned from. Each of our tools answers one plain question like these.
The five tools
1. Crawl Record: is your page in Common Crawl?
Crawl Record checks whether Common Crawl saved your page. Common Crawl is a nonprofit that has archived the public web since 2008, and many AI training datasets start from its crawls.
Type a page or a whole site and it shows the newest 3, 6 or 12 crawls, one row each. When a crawl missed your page, it reads the saved record and tells you why: a firewall block, a robots.txt rule, a redirect, or simply a month the crawl didn’t reach you. It names the blocker too, such as Cloudflare, Wordfence or Sucuri.
2. AI Visibility: can AI reach and find your page?
AI Visibility asks three sources that feed AI answers about one page: Claude’s search, ChatGPT and Common Crawl. For each one it tests whether the page can be fetched, whether it shows up in search, and what your robots.txt tells that crawler.
3. Fan-Out: what does AI actually search for?
When you ask an AI engine a question, it quietly runs several web searches before answering. Fan-Out shows the searches ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini actually run for a prompt, not a guess at them.
Three runs show which searches come back every time. Add your site and you see where it ranks on Google for each one.
Knowledge Panel: how does Google describe your brand?
Knowledge Panel shows what Google’s Knowledge Graph holds on a brand or a person: the entity it matches, its type and description, and its
ID. Compare mode puts a competitor’s record beside yours.
How do you use the Google Knowledge Graph search to find your entity? Just enter your name, business name, brand names, product names or website names – try different variations!
AI Performance: Google and Bing’s AI reports, side by side
AI Performance lines up Search Console’s generative AI report with Bing’s AI Performance report. You see each page’s AI Overview and AI Mode impressions next to its Copilot citations, plus Bing’s grounding queries. Your exports are read in your browser and never uploaded.
A real check: the block nobody knew about
On October 6, 2026 we checked the home page of getseedsrighthere.com in the newest three crawls.
| Crawl | Result |
|---|---|
| July 2026 | Blocked: HTTP 403 from Cloudflare |
| August 2026 | Not in this crawl |
| September 2026 | Saved 3 copies, newest Sep 11 |
The site’s robots.txt allowed CCBot, Common Crawl’s bot, the whole time. But in July a Cloudflare security rule answered it with a “you have been blocked” page anyway. That is the kind of problem you can’t see from robots.txt or from your rankings.
The fix is to allow CCBot in the site’s Cloudflare settings: AI bot blocking, Bot Fight Mode and any custom security rules. August, by contrast, is nothing to worry about. Each crawl visits only part of the web.
Free, and careful with your data
Every tool is free and works without an account. AI Visibility, Fan-Out and Knowledge Panel cost us money or quota per answer, so each has a daily allowance of free checks. Signing in with Google is optional and raises it.
Crawl Record and AI Performance run entirely in your browser, so we keep nothing from them. The other three run on our server and keep each answer for 24 hours, so a repeat check doesn’t cost twice. The About page spells out exactly what each tool keeps.
We are not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Brave or the Common Crawl Foundation.
Where to start
Start with your home page in the Common Crawl checker. It takes a few seconds and tells you whether the crawlers behind AI have been getting in.
If you want the fuller picture, the free AI visibility audit runs Crawl Record, AI Visibility and Fan-Out in order. Questions or odd results? Email [email protected] with the share link from your check.
