Goals Google Analytics Cannot Track
Google Analytics goals are designed to track specific actions users take on your website or app, but there are some limitations. Here’s what you cannot track with Goals:
- Off-line sales
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV)
- Repeat purchases from loggedin users
- When customers stop being customers
Google Analytics goals can track many common actions, such as:
- Purchases
- Signups
- Downloads
- Video engagement
- Repeat Purchases
If you’re unsure if a specific action can be tracked as a goal, it’s worth exploring the goal setup options in Google Analytics 4 or contact our Google Analytics Consulting unit.
